MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Jacob Dawson

 

Dr. Jacob Dawson is a Cosmetic Dentist at Willow Dental in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and attended Millard North High School! For his undergraduate studies, he attended Brigham Young University and received his doctorate degree from Roseman College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dawson is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. His favorite part about being a Dentist is making a positive impact on the health of his patients! During his free time, he enjoys exercising, golf, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Scott Bicknell, DMD

 

Dr. Scott Bicknell is a general dentist with advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, implants, and clear aligners. He went to dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry in 2022.

He led community outreach efforts as President of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry and he was actively involved in the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) chapter at UIC, where he acted as a liaison between students and clinical faculty. In this role, he helped mentor underclassmen and supported their development of clinical skills.

Dr. Bicknell believes strongly in giving back to the community. He understands how fortunate he is to be in a position of attaining higher education, and views it as both a privilege and a responsibility to use his skills to improve access to care. After dental school, Dr. Bicknell practiced in Milwaukee, WI, gaining hands-on experience in surgical extractions, bone grafting, and implant placement courses.

His approach to dentistry goes beyond simply addressing a patient’s chief complaint—it’s about building genuine rapport and trust. He strives to create a welcoming environment that helps patients feel comfortable returning for routine care and preventive treatment, which he believes is the foundation of long-term oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bicknell enjoys soccer, exploring local coffee spots, and relaxing and unwinding with TV or video games. He and his wife celebrated their wedding in the Summer of 2025 and are now starting their chapter together in Omaha.
